Your phone system is beyond poor - It\'s none responsive and cumbersome. You have forced us to go through Leavenworth call center, when we only want to talk with our local servicing bank. I can not articulate the true words I want to say about your phone system. When I want to talk to the Ft Leonard Wood bank manager, I have to go through the Ft Leavenworth call center who can\'t transfer my call or won\'t, but say they will send her a message to call me. Of course this process does not work fast enough - none resposive. Having to press 1 for English is BS too. I\'ve closed one account today and as soon as my check supply is expended I will be closing my second account with your bank. I go out of my way to inform new soldiers and officers to bank at either Mid Missouri Credit Union or Navy Credit Union, At the rate your bank is being managed you will have a steady stream of closed accounts and you will be wondering why. You banking fees are not keeping up with other banks - free business checking, DBA account checking, loans, and not having overdraft protection on accounts are basic features needed today, but no Armed Forces Bank wants to drain every oz of profit they can at the expense of their customers. YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TIRED OF BEING TREATED LIKE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS AND ARE TAKING THEIR BANKING ELSEWHERE. I\'ve been with Armed Forces Bank from 1994 until today. LTC (Ret) Tom Murphy,

Ever since I left the part of the country that has Armed Forces Banks, I have been unsatisfied with my banking choices. I chose Armed Forces for the free checking. I don't understand why I should be charged a fee for my checks. Armed Forces was a hassle-free bank for me. I never got a run-around there. I was always able to access money

I have had an account at Armed forces for almost ten years, and today was the day. Tried calling to stop a payment from a transaction that could not be processed by Western Union. When I called the bank they said there was nothing they could do even though I had the number from Western union. I had the same situation with another bank that I use and the representative went above and beyond to get the payment stopped and the money put back in my account that day. I have been looking for a reason to stop using Armed Forces bank and switching to USAA and I think I found it.

My primary bank is an internet-only bank, but I opened an account at Armed Forces in March because I thought it would be a good idea to have a local bank "just in case". I chose Armed Forces for their free checking account - because I knew I would never be keeping much money in it and didn't want to pay any monthly fees. So far I'm happy

Tellers are rude and condescending to customers--claiming unreasonable practices as "company policy" but unwilling or unable to discuss them intelligently. They seemed genuinely happy to throw out roadblocks to disallow a transaction.
